Last Day of 2005!

Well wat i can say abt this last day of the yr 2005......

To me, time really pass very fast and this yr has been a fruitful one for me even though i am serving NS. From attending 2 courses in SCDF, promote to higher level, joining for the 40th National Day Parade of Singapore's bday, able to participate as G.O.H for SCDF day, seeing my friends ard me who have happily received their Pink I.C., celebrating friends' monthly bday as usual, my friend's wife gave birth to a son last mth, knowing more frends etc

Of coz, not everytime is a smooth sailing boat on the sea, i will have some unhappy occassions but when i think abt it, all these are small matters. All these matters will fly off as soon as 2005 will be history in the coming nxt half of the day...

Ok got to stop here, need to go n get ready for meeting up wif my frends for KTV session in the afternoon.

A DAY of my character...

Hiazz...Always no confidence in myself , blur, afraid to try out new things,not active-minded....in mind always thought of others. In the end kanna scolded very chia lat (in Hokkien) in the late morning.

When i came back home, i told my parents abt this. Then they said, especially my dad, juz go ahead and try or else u will nv improve. Anything happens or goes wrong, mostly tat person will be blamed. U are juz a newbie. Dun worry too much.

Wat can i do? My character is like tat since i realized it when during sec days time. But as i get older in age, i have change slowly for the better as the days passed by. These are the negative characteristic

So r u guys noe wat am i toking abt? haha...i guess u all dunno. Nv mind, Its ok. I will tell once and for all when everything is done.

Job Hunting

Went for a swim... Before tat, sent out my resume to 12 different companys ard l2 noon where most ppl going to have lunch. Till now, I check my email, only 1 company which is replied in my inbox. Tats like WOW! But too bad, :( , its an automated msg by mediacorp radio stating tat my resume is currently being reviewed and the person will call me if i am shortlisted.

Wat job am i looking for in mediacorp? Becoming A DJ??? LoL...I will tell u guys if I kanna selected in tat company. If really selected, dunno whether i am interested to work. Argh! Will be deciding, if I am called for interview. Well......wish me luck manz. Hope the other companies will respond to my email soon.

Hiazz...have to continue my job hunt in the Straits Times under the Job Recruit Section and send out my resume to the companies which I like to work tomolo.

~~~ Sunday Afternoon ~~~

Jux came back home from tampines .

Went to take Passport size photos (5 for $4) for my resume ...n the quality not bad lah. Not only tat, have lunch and a haircut (which still costs $8) at Barber Shop and found out tat all the uncles who used to cut for me, have grown older as i have grown into a young adult, so long nv been there for a haircuit ever since Poly times, I always go to Salon . I used to go there when i was juz a little kid...Haizz...How times have flied...

Rite now, I have to wait for my hair to grow longer, hopefully by next yr Jan 2006 be4 CNY, I can go to some branded salon to style n dye my hair natural brownish colour...

In abt 2 hrs time, i have to go back to camp to do my ADO duty. SIANZ!!! But bo bian. :(

A Carpark Incident

4th day of Dec...woke up at 8 am. Went wif my parents to Bedok and saw sumthing happened at the carpark. Wow first time, seen in real life.

There was a fight for the parking lot between 2 uncles (both in their 40 plus n 50 plus) at the carpark. There were some vulgar words exchange in their sentences, scolding each other very loudly and dunno which one started to give one punch over at the other party's face . Both parties' of the respective wife began to push their husbands away. One of them was pushing away and pleading wif the another uncle not to fight already wif his husband and the other decided to call the police. Luckily, another passerby uncle in his 40s came over to help n manage to stop them from fighting. Or else there will be more injuries.

My mum and I suddenly were standing along the roadside due to this incident. When the fighting occured, my mum was afraid by dragging my hand to go further away. But we juz wanted to wait for my dad to park his car properly and put the vehicle coupon. In a few mins, saw my dad walking towards the incident. He muz have seen it what has happened and advised one of the uncle to calm down and relaxed....but in my mind, i hope the uncle wont start beating up my dad for being so KPO....or else....i will......... (hahaha)

Seeing my dad was safe, we decided not to bother abt the incident and went to Hawer Centre for makan.

After having our breakfast, i decided to go ahead to settle my own things n saw the police have arrived, recording down their statement.

As for today; I have learnt a morale lesson; "Muz be calm n steady in tough situation; dun be so hot-tempered and get so tensed up easily." Tats all I wan to say.

Wat A day @ home

Waked up, went for 2 rd jog ard my estates...Eat, use comp, watched tv and took an afternoon nap till 5 pm.

Watched "Bai Fen Bai Yu Le", featuring a part where they invite Jay Chou some sort of promoting his new album. Wat i can say, i like when he is showing off his basketball skills such as dribbling and doing some stunts n tacts using the ball along wif Luo Zhixiang aka Xiao Zhu(nickname). Wow! I am impressed. I always thought he is very cool, quiet-seldom tok much. But in this interview, he laughed and joked a lot wif "Xiao Zhu" and "Da S". Wat my mum said maybe he closer wif them, thats the reason y he can laugh n joke with them. Haha... same---> when i much closer and comfortable wif my friends, i can joke n tok a lot. Btw congratulates to Jay Chou for nomiating "The Best newcomer " and "The Best Movie Composer" of Initial D in Golden Horse Award-Taiwan Movie Ceremony award.

Hopes he can win one back or both.

After tat use comp, watched taiwanese idol drama "Wan Zi Bian Qing Hua" channel U. Today eposide, Tianyu (the female main character) said a very touching line to Junhao (the male main lead) after his family declared bankrupt. Wow. I was touched too if any of the ger says this to me....hahaha..... Wat does the ger say??? I lazy to type in. If u wan to noe, go n buy the VCD lor...some sort of promoting the show. HAHA! =p

Ok gtg n watch news liao and bath.

*A trip to JB *

JB stands for Johor Bahru which is part of mly'sia. Went down to the place wif my two frends from sec sch from 10.30 am ever since its been so long to our neighbourhood country when i was juz a small kid wif my family.

We took a bus no 168 from outside between TM (Tampines Mall) and CS (Centuary Squ) to Woodlands interchange. We took a bus (forget wat no liao) and then missed our stop. In the end, we have to walk abt 20 mins to the woodlands terminal checkpt, filled in a "Immigration Department Malaysia" white card wif our passports stamped.

After tat, took a escalator up n passed through the securtiy check...walked a few mins, it reached our destination, malaysia. From the first impression, i noticed all the signboards n road names are in malay( Haha...so sua gu). We walked to the City Square and took a taxi which costs us RM $11 to Holiday Plaza.

After reaching there, we took our lunch at McDonald ard 12.30 plus. I have my Cheese burger wif beef (the cheese is strong n the meat is big n medium done), a small cup of icetea (called Nes-tea there. the drink is sour cum sweet different taste from wat i taste in local), n medium size of potato wedges (S'pore branches dun have).

We walked ard the whole mall for 3 hrs from down to up, up to down...n saw a lot of shops which cannot be found in s'pore. From my overall impression, the mall looked like Sim Lim Squ but bigger.

When we have done our stuff and the heavy rain turned to drizzling, we took a taxi back to City Squ and paid RM $6. Wow much more cheaper.....Reached the shopping mall, the mall is a much more bigger area and space than after combination of TM and CS. Start to walk from the top floor, took a look and went in every shop where they sell clothes. Some of the clothes are xpensive but nice, some are cheap and normal when convert to S$.

we stopped here n there, looked at the clothes n took a look at the price, making a decision whether the clothes are worth to buy. We walked till our legs is "calling for help" and we went to Food Junction for dinner. My friend and i ate a hotplate of sweet and sour chicken, chicken mushroom wif its sauce comes wif egg respectively. Each costs RM 5 wifout 5% gst....(haha still got GST in malaysia). My other friend ate a metal pot of chicken rice wif egg. cost RM 6 wifout GST. Drank a cup of honeydew wif milk...very nice to drink.

Continuing our shopping, finally stopped at Baleno shop. Trying n testing out the clothes which i might buy. In the end, bought a green t-shirt wif some words' design which is common for guys nowadays. The selling price is RM 30. Worth it, better than the plain light blue t-shirt i wanted to buy. So overall, bought a lot of things, 2 shirts bought by my frend n finally only 1 shirt is for me etc.......

Took a bus no 170 back to s'pore checkpt, followed by taking a short nap in bus no 168 from woodlands interchange back to Tampines, changed to bus no 81 and went back home ard 10 pm.

Wat a tiring day! But i enjoyed the trip.

Opps. My entry is so long today. Ok gtg n slp liao *yawn*

~A Day in my life~ part 2

Went to play badminton in my camp today. Suprisingly found out tat only 2 persons are playing, my NS frend and a scdf civilian officer, before i reached. Initially I thought tat there will be a lot of persons---> more than 4 persons??? But found out later, either they are busy in work or on leave.

Hmm...she has improved in her badminton due to every week's of training i guess. Due to the timing slot has been booked by another ppl, we jux played only for 1 hrs. Nxt week, there will be a game too...

Found out from my friend tat he never goes back to camp today. I wonder how he is liao...wan to sms but dun have his number. Sighzz... Only one of my frend from the whole grp of CD day at tat time, have his number. Hope he able to find an apartment to settle down temporary first.

Btw my pair of legs are numb and tired now...lazy to stand up...haha!!!

~~A Day in my life~~

Woke up at 11.30 am n have my nasi lemak lunch bought by my Dad at 1.30 pm. My mother scolded me along wif my dad for always skipping breakfast. If this continues, they said i will get gastric pain for life soon or later. Hopefully not ~~~choi touchwood......

Editing my blog desgin today and have a hard time taken up almost the whole noon doing some parts...still not fully done yet. I was playing the game "Uno" game which created by a personal Mirc script in IRC wif my frend and his friends in the #UNO! while i was doing the blog html and chatting wif my frend in the msn.

Seems interesting to desgin it but tedious. Have to look through the blog's HTML codes over and over again. Finally have done a part of it. Will continue tomolo or another day whenever I am free.

After tat, i will go for a jog around my estates as so long nv jog...or else i will be getting fat. (I dun wan!!!) After tat, go for a badminton game wif my scdf frends n colleagues.

A LONG Long....wait in the polyclinic

Reached the clinic. Took my que no: 7335 for registration of consultations from doctors. I was standing ard n was shocked to find the que no was only 7296++. Luckily i have brought my mp3player to listen n looking ard the ppl surrounding me.

Nothing to look at and only get my attention is a mum playing wif her few months old baby. After tat i decided to get a seat as my legs began to feel numb. Almost fell asleep n waited for abt at most one hr, finally its my turn. Sianx!!!

Took another no: 2347 to level 3, sitting there n saw the mum "entertaining" her baby again. Have to wait for at least 30 mins again. My number appeared in the waiting screen n went in. The doctor was a lady. After examming and my temperature, only a minor sore throat wif no fever n asked me to drink a lot of water.

After tat went back to 1st level, the waiting process is so long again to collect my medicine which are pandadols n lozenges after payment process.

Finally its over. Took a bus home n vowed will always keep my health fit and strong. Even i get sick, i will try not to go to polyclinic. Its a waste of time of sitting there, doing nothing jux to get to get ur turn to see a doctor.

:) Off from NS Duty today. :)

Although no need to report to camp today, its shiok but have to go n see a doctor at polyclinic afterwards. haizzz... I dun wan to go n see but my parents advised me expecially my mum's nagging tat its better to see a doctor to get some medicine ; Btw its FOC (free of charge). Wah so good. Those who serving in government sectors will noe the reason.

Having Sore throat n tired now though the fever is gone.

Ok have to drag myself there now n see a doc now or else the clinic will be very crowded afterwards.

Juz A Normal Outing

*Sunday*

A fine sunday with no rain and beside the weather is juz nice, not too hot nor cold.
Feel like staying @home and did my own personal things. In the end, go out n meet Ping, Quan, Ting, PK plus Timo (their poly classmate) at Cityhall.

3 of us (PK, Ping and me) met up at 1430 hrs and went to TCC the newly opened cafe at Citylink. I ordered an Iced coffee and they ordered a vanilla milkshake n strawberry milkshake respectively. Later abt 30 mins, Timo came n joined us and bought a cup of apple tea (which i guess so). How did i noe Timo...well...its a long story and cant be bothered to tell u guys.

After tat Quan came and more than one hr, ting came. We tok a lot of topics under the sun such as ORD and wat we r going to do after ORD (for guys only :p) etc. Of coz, we wont tok abt guys' topics . Or else either the gers will be bored to death or they will tok among themselves.

Talk here, talk there, talk everything we can think of till more than 1650 hrs. Later went to play pool at Marina Square. But only 4 of us (spilt in 2 by 2 after tat changed partner after 2 rds of warm-up) playing, left pk n ting sitting there by chit-chatting their own conversion. Haha...our junior pool player, ping improved her playing after one week.

Makan at food court during dinner time after finished our game at 1800 hrs. Walked ard Suntec to see our own personal things. Take bus home at 2 hrs later. I slept along the way and reach home abt 2105 hrs. The earliest time which i reached home ever with this grp.

Welcome to a brand bew year of 2005 !

A brand new year of the day with a special feeling in my heart when i woke up at 0830 in the morning. So have u guys set any new wishes or resolutions for this year? For me, i have... but will have a chance to tell u guys personally when i meet u as the days come.

It has been raining heavily since morning as no choice my swimming plan is cancelled. I realized for these two days of the strange weather, it has been rainning non stop and i wonder is it describing the feeling of victims who have lost of their relatives and close ones who have died in tsunami disaster....haizz...~_~Anyway let's pray n hope there's no increasing number of victims who have died in the disaster.

As for me, i went out with my frends to play Pool and shopped around at Tampines area in the aftenoon. Guess wat? I saw one of my sec friends who hasnt been in contact in Tampines Mall. After tat, we walked around and due to my disappointment, i found out there's no promotion price for some brands of the handphone in the shops. So Sad....*sob*. I hope there is the next coming promotion prices before CNY in Feb.
